Laetitia Tessier
My journey
Born among the vineyards of Entre-Deux-Mers, raised around the rhythms of vine-growing, wine has always been part of my story. To me, it means conviviality and a good meal shared. It also tells the story of the women and men who tend their vines and craft their wines with passion. That world and those values naturally found their place in my professional path.
Holder of a BTS in International Business, I built my career over more than 25 years in sales administration and the wine trade, within Bordeaux wine trading houses such as Maison Barrière, Barton & Guestier and DIVA.
Day to day, I handled customer relations, sales and purchasing management, and operations in France and export, coordinating with suppliers, carriers, sales agents, customs, banks and the technical or regulatory bodies tied to each file. My path was continually enriched by professional training throughout my career, keeping pace with developments in international trade, regulation and industry practice.
For eight years, I also ran an outsourced commercial office in China: the chapter that has left the deepest mark on my career. That experience gave me hands-on practice coordinating and steering an international commercial activity remotely.
My professional involvement continues today through the vice-presidency of FFMAS Gironde / Nouvelle-Aquitaine and assignments as an accredited DREETS examiner for the Assistant Commercial (ACOM) and Assistant Import-Export (AIE) professional qualifications. Convinced that passing on knowledge is also part of the job, I earned the CAFPAD certification, which now structures the design and delivery of my training, in person and remotely.
L'Aire Du Vin was born from this wish to bring together these different facets of a single profession: supporting wine industry companies in their sales and customer relations, through action, advice or knowledge-sharing.
